A temporary job paying fifty times the minimum wage opens the door to a nightmare.
A Halloween premiere with eight episodes
“Dead-End Job” premiered on Netflix on October 30, 2026, bringing a Korean blend of horror, mystery and fantasy to Halloween weekend. Lee Jae-wook leads a story in which the promise of quick money pulls a debt-burdened young man into a struggle to survive.
The official page lists eight episodes lasting between 33 and 44 minutes, approximately five hours in total. Netflix’s Romanian catalog displays a 16+ classification and Romanian subtitles. Viewers can check the title page for the available language options before watching.
Spider Staffing Agency has one crucial rule
Hyeok-jun is desperate to escape his debts when an advertisement leads him to the mysterious Spider Staffing Agency. Its temporary jobs offer pay starting at fifty times the minimum hourly wage. There is one essential condition: employees must never discuss what happens during their shifts.
His first assignment takes him to a seemingly ordinary convenience store. The everyday setting soon reveals rules and threats that make a shift dangerous. The premise connects economic pressure with supernatural horror: an attractive offer does not remove the worker’s vulnerability but exposes him to another kind of risk.
The cast and creative team
Ko Min-si, Kim Min-ha and Lee Hee-jun join Lee Jae-wook. Netflix’s announcement introduces Lee Hee-jun as the agency’s boss, who encourages the protagonist to accept the offer. The initial tension lies between reassuring promises of money and what the new employee discovers at work.
Kim Da-min, who wrote “A Killer Paradox,” directs, while Han Jun-hee oversees creative development. Netflix associates Han with “D.P.” and “Weak Hero Class 2.” The compact eight-episode format offers a seasonal Korean series; this introduction explains its starting point without revealing the mystery’s resolution.
