YG announces the November 4 milestone
BABYMONSTER’s “DESERVE” music video has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. YG Entertainment marked the achievement with an official announcement on November 4, 2026. According to the agency’s information reported by Korean media, the video crossed the threshold at approximately 1:57 a.m. KST that day.
The video premiered on October 23 at 1 p.m. KST, putting the milestone approximately 11 days and 13 hours after release. The figure concerns the official music video for the digital single, which arrived in late October as the group’s latest release.
A pop ballad built around the vocals
YG’s official introduction describes “DESERVE” as a pop ballad combining synth melodies with a retro atmosphere. It foregrounds the members’ voices and expression, presenting a restrained, emotionally charged vocal approach after releases associated with the group’s powerful performances.
According to the agency, the lyrics look back on memories while wishing the other person happiness, with emotion building through the chorus. The video accompanies that arc with expressive performances. iMBC highlights a later sequence featuring fireworks and group choreography with numerous dancers.
Where DESERVE fits in the 2026 releases
Released as a digital single on October 23, “DESERVE” follows “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,” which arrived on June 8. Earlier in the year, BABYMONSTER released its third mini-album, “춤 (CHOOM),” on May 4, followed by those two separate digital singles.
The official credits list CHOICE37, Jared Lee, Sonny, Ned Houston and YG as lyricists. CHOICE37, LP, Jared Lee, Ned Houston, Sonny and LIL G composed the song, with LP and CHOICE37 handling its arrangement. These are the production credits for the track behind the newly announced viewing milestone.
